Lovebug comes to Chichester College – a new all-day music festival featuring ska, roots reggae, dub, soul, acid jazz, northern soul, rare groove and modern soul hosted at Chichester College’s Pavilion Bar on August 18 from 3pm until midnight.
The clavichord has been termed the Cinderella of keyboards. For the Petworth Festival, Julian Perkins, artistic director of Cambridge Handel Opera, will show that it is in fact a rich and rewarding instrument, both to play and to listen to.
Worthing’s Ryan Mac takes to his home town’s Pavilion Theatre stage, promising the “ultimate swing experience”, also featuring special guest and Sinatra tribute Stephen Triffitt (Saturday July 28, 7.30pm).
Traditional summer season fun is once again the promise at Bognor’s Regis Centre this August. Live At The Regis will run from Thursday to Sunday, August 9-12 (Thursday and Friday 7.30pm, Saturday 2.30pm and 7.30pm and Sunday 2.30pm), starring Joe Pasquale and Hilary O’Neil.
