Town were already safe
The Green Machine travelled to West Sussex thinking they needed all three points to ensure they didn't go down, but a county league official informed them at half time that only one team would be relegated, which meant they were already safe.
Chairman Del Longley said: "We're staying up and that's a bit of a relief but I have no idea why they couldn't have told us that earlier."

Hide AdTown's main priority now is to secure a full time manager and the club is hoping caretaker boss Paul Elphick will apply for the job. Longley added: "I'd be disappointed if Paul didn't apply as eight weeks ago it didn't look like we were going to stay up.
