Thomas becomes Sussex Under 12 golf champion
PYECOMBE junior player, Thomas Fairfax (12), of Hassocks, has won the Sussex Junior Under 12 Championship following an event at Worthing Golf Club's upper course.
Thomas, who plays at Pyecombe, qualified for the Under 12 group in the Carol Mary Trophy by being one of the two lowest handicappers in his age group in Sussex South.
He plays off 21, while fellow Pyecombe junior Matthew Greenfield (12) , who plays off 16, was the other to represent Sussex South.
