Students learn about racing industry

GOODWOOD Racecourse was the setting for a day of fun and learning for the students of four local schools, as part of the 'Aim Higher' education programme.

The day involved year ten students from Westergate School in Chichester, Thomas Bennett College in Crawley, Bognor Regis College and King's Manor College in Shoreham.

Led by Judith Allen and Vince Slattery of the British Horse Racing Education and Standards Trust, the children were talked through the wide variety of job opportunities in the racing industry.
