Steve chalks up his first century for Hellingly
Heathfield Park 264-7 Hellingly 268-5Steve Hook scored his first century for Hellingly in a superb game against Heathfield Park at Horsebridge on Saturday.
A change in the order saw Hook opening the batting for the first time this season and he repaid his skipper's faith with a well-crafted innings.
Hook first put on 57 with Ian Rippengal (10) before a mammoth second-wicket partnership of 153 with Neil Green set up the game for an enthralling finish. Hook was finally stumped after cracking 16 fours and a six in an innings of 106.
