RUSTS STROLL INTO SEMIS
RUSTINGTON Football Club will host fellow County League Division 3 side Newhaven in the semi-finals after a less-than-convincing performance at Brighton League O&G United on Saturday.
On a bobbly pitch, Rustington struggled to adpat early on but took the lead when Craig Cox fired home from 20 yards on 17 minutes.
The second came eight minutes later when Sean Duffy broke down the right, before cutting in and shooting low past O&G's keeper.
By half-time, Rustington were 3-0 up after Cox punished the O&G keeper for a slip.
