Charlie Wyke put the home side 2-0 up with goals in the second and 29th minutes. But the in-form Rhys Murphy kept the Reds in the game with a goal 11 minutes before half time.

Murphy converted a diving header after Lewis Young crossed in from the right.

But Jabo Ibehre has restored Carlisle’s two-goal advantage at the start of the second half.

It was Ibehre’s 12th goal of the campaign and his second since returning from injury.
