He said: “It is fantastic to have been selected to be a part of the Guard of Honour at Twickenham. It was fantastic to represent the QBE Coaching Club and be able to welcome the England side onto the pitch at Twickenham.

“The initiative has made a huge difference to my coaching skills and has given me the confidence to help out other coaches at Pullborough as well.”

Sunderland first got involved with coaching while still playing for his local club as he wanted to help improve the standard of coaching and develop the talented young pool of players in the junior teams.

He joined the QBE Coaching Club to help him develop as a coach and give him knowledge to share with other coaches at the club and is now in charge of an under-13 side at Pullborough and assists coaches at all age at the club.
