Ott-footing it back to Thunder!

THE ANGEL of New Orleans is on his way back to Worthing. Rookie American guard Alfredo Ott has signed for a second season with Worthing Thunder but fellow rookie Jonathan Woods, the Chicagoan 6ft 7in forward, will not be back.

Key Englishmen, Worthing born and bred, James Brame and Pat Bates have also inked their consent to the upcoming season in which Thunder will defend their title of English League champions. Further names are to be announced, including a second American, who will be a forward.

Ott has rejected offers from other clubs after averaging 23.5 points per game and 3.3 steals in a consistent display that contended for League MVP, claimed the club MVP, and flowered during last season into the 43-point performance at Reading that all-but decided the title's destiny.
