Ollie Rayner retained by Sussex CCC

SUSSEX CCC is pleased to announce that Ollie Rayner has agreed a new two-year contract at the club.

Ollie, 22, enjoyed another successful season with Sussex and took over the reins from the injured Mushtaq Ahmed with skill and confidence. Taking 31 wickets in Championship cricket, Ollie returned a first-class bowling average of 33.61 and finished as Sussex's third leading wicket-taker in the LV County Championship.

Rayner was recently named in the 15-man England Performance Squad to tour India in November and December.
