New surfaces

HORSHAM Park's public tennis courts are being resurfaced. The four tennis courts and adjoining basketball court are a popular feature of the park and are open seven days a week throughout the year.

They are free to use throughout the winter '“ just turn up and play '“ and should be reopened for public use from November 1.

The Racquets Community Club is just one of the groups using the tennis courts.

Run by Liz Hatcher, the club meets every Saturday for two hours of coaching and play followed by refreshments in the Conservatory Caf.

Additional sessions can be arranged for groups or individuals, including lunchtime activities for office workers in Horsham.
