Mussels grab late point

SHOREHAM Football Club's fight for survival is now most definately on after they fought back from two goals down to earn a last-minute point against Hailsham on Saturday.

A piece of unlucky goalkeeping by Mussels' Darren Prior gifted Hailsham striker Scott French a tap-in opener on 19 minutes.

Hailsham doubled their lead five minutes before half-time. A Stuart Lewis header found the outstretched boot of John Fitzpatrick, and with composure, Fitzpatrick powerfully placed a volley into the top corner.
