Leaders get better of stablemates

Dun Horse B took the derby honours against their stablemates to remain top of Division 1 of the Horsham & District Bar Billiards League.

Derek Taylor, Rob Hall, Jim Greensted (13,020) and Peter Edwards wrapped-up victory while Richard Spurrier won a consolation for Dun Horse A.

Gareth Lloyd smashed in a 15,890 score against The Plough as Roffey Club Y kept the pressure on, while Mick Fairs hit 9.6k and Lee Cable also scored big. Mark Webber grabbed Plough’s point to keep them top of Division 2.

Stout House A are keeping tabs on Plough though, as wins for John Tidy, Keith Newman and Glyn Owen secured victory against Windmill A - for whom Andy Crofton took the final point.

Elswehere, Limeburners beat Holbrook Club 5-0 with wins for Steve Holden, Ding Johnson, Tony Temple (6,040) and Chip Sawyer. Stout House BB beat Black Dog 4-1 with 6k scores from Rick and Dick Dewdney, while Southwater’s Tom Darkins won the decider in a 3-2 victory against Windmill B.
