Horsham Riding Club successes

HORSHAM Riding Club came first and second in a qualifying event it hosted recently for a Winter Novice Team Dressage Competition being held at Hartpury College, Gloucester in April. It's winning team, Horsham Horrors, has qualified for the finals.

The club has already qualified a team for the Winter Novice Team Show Jumping finals at the venue on the same date.

The club's dressage teams have always been strong, enabling it to field two very good team of four for the qualifier. Each team had two riders riding Prelim 12 and two riders riding Novice 27, with the best three scores to county.

The two teams came well ahead of other competing clubs and Horsham Horrors will represent the club at Hartpury on April 15, representing Area 13.

Horsham Horrors consisted of Michelle Malinder and Gracious Knight, Liz Pellett and Zak; Laura Durkan and Lady A, Liz Lane and Catherston Lochnivar.

The runner up team of Horsham Hooligans consisted of: Maggie Whatford and Ross the Boss; Linzie Wiseman and Webster; Gill Brown and Vino and Ros Head and San Sauve Prince.

The club also held an indoor dressage event at Belmoredean.
