Horsham darts update: Dan’s sixth 180 inspires Roffey
Roffey S&SC B returned to winning ways in Division 1 of the Horsham & District League, as Dan Waller’s sixth 180 of the season helped inspire a 5-4 victory against Broadbridge Heath VC B.
Skipper Andy Mason and Heath’s Pete Sands also hit maximums. The Railway, for whom John Daws hit a 111 outshot gained ground with a 7-2 win against Cat & Canary, despite Lee Burlton’s 180 and Rob Gladman’s 102 checkout. In Division 2, Roffey S&SC C took the bragging rights against their A stablemates while Kings Arms, Horsham look well set in second after beating Horsham C&SC 6-3.
Nick Dunn lost his unbeaten record as HFC@The Norfolk beat Roffey CC 5-4, and meanwhile Billingshurst Kings Arms booked a Victory Cup quarter final tie with Roffey S&SC B with a 7-2 defeat of Rising Sun Alliance.
