Harries is part of the Harlequins elite team and regularly plays for their under-16s, as well as being part of the Sussex rugby set-up.
Harries is also a keen athlete and is also training hard for next month’s nationals, where he will be aiming to get a qualifying time for the 200m world championships in Columbia this July.
Harries is ranked second fastest in the UK, fourth in Europe and 12th in the world.
At some point he will have to choose between running and rugby – but for now he is juggling both sports.
