The 17-year-old joins Neil MacFarlane’s Brentford B at the club who are trying to win promotion to the Premier League through the Championship play-offs. He is on a two-year contract with a club option of a one-year extension.

Stevens, who can play at full back and in midfield, had an impressive 2019-20 season in the Rebels' impressive Isthmian premier division and made his first senior appearance at the age of j16.

He had spent time in Arsenal’s youth sides before departing at the age of 15 and moving to Woodside Road. He initially joined Worthing’s under-18s, but he forced his way into Adam Hinshelwood’s first team last season.

Brentford's website reported: "Having managed to break into the side on a regular basis from January, Fin managed to net his first goal for the club away from home in a 2-1 win over Carshalton. His last match prior to the lockdown saw him feature for the side in early March as they beat Wingate & Finchley 4-1 at The Crucial Environmental Stadium."

Brentford B Head Coach MacFarlane said: “Fin is somebody with a very good character and I believe that he’ll be good for the dressing room. He has been playing men’s football at the age of 16, which is fantastic, and that will have given him a lot of good experience. That can only stand him in good stead to come and deal with the physicality of things, and not only that, he’s been playing in a winning team.

"Before the lockdown Worthing were going to win the league, and that’s a really good thing because that will add to the winning culture. We’ll be able to add to his experiences at Brentford B with the variety of the games programme and the training that we have.”
