THE magic of The FA Cup was short lived for Arundel Football Club as they exited the competition last night with a 2-1 defeat against Rye – meaning they missed out on £1,500 prize money.

An excellent Scott Tipper goal put Arundel ahead after just five minutes, but an own goal and Evan Archibald strike in the second half saw Rye go through to face Chipstead and bag the cash.
