The buyers also have experience in European football and if the takeover does not go ahead, another British consortium are keen to do a deal.
Chief executive Michael Dunford also revealed that the takeover did not have any effect on activity during the January transfer window, but the board and benefactors have provided further funds on top of the pre-arranged budget to add loan players to the squad during the season to date.
