Westfield were victorious in their first game for seven weeks, Little Common picked up a draw following a dramatic finish and Bexhill United were beaten on their travels.

Westfield made it 13 points from a possible 15 by winning 1-0 away to a Rustington side which they also saw off in their previous outing on January 11. Steve Thomson scored the only goal in the second half.

Little Common drew 2-2 at home to promotion-chasing Broadbridge Heath in a match where all the goals were scored in the closing 10 minutes. Farhad Bidgood gave Heath a deserved lead only for Lewis Hole to level barely a minute later by heading home Jamie Crone’s cross.

The impressive Hole then glanced in Russell Eldridge’s free kick for his 27th goal of the campaign, but Heath nabbed a point in added time when Dan Attwater confidently dispatched a penalty having been fouled by Eldridge.

Bexhill lost 3-1 away to Wick & Barnham United. Steve Menzies put Wick ahead, and although an own goal brought Bexhill level at the break, second half strikes from Ash Harper and Nathan Parke won it for the home side.
