Bognor colts chairman Mike Broad was delighted with how the day went and said: “It is so pleasing to see young players enjoying themselves and having such fun outdoors, whilst learning the great game of cricket.

“We here at Bognor are a true community club, so our link with the Sussex in the Community programme makes good sense for all.”

Bognor offer colts sides from the age of six all the way through to 16.

Training sessions are taken by ECB qualified coaches, while a child welfare officer and club mark official are present at sessions.

Sessions take place on Fridays from 4.30pm.

For more information on any of the sessions or the club contact Mike Broad on 07713507079 or [email protected].
