Burgess Hill and Lindfield for #RedforRuth

Despite the game being played behind closed doors, the Foundation is undeterred and is encouraging the game to turn red throughout the country.

To show support to the charity, this weekend Lindfield and Burgess Hill Cricket Clubs will be turning #RedforRuth in both their first and second team fixtures being played at Lindfield Common and St. John's park in Burgess Hill respectively. The teams will be bedecked in red throughout the games with spectators also encouraged to arrive dressed in red. Both clubs will be making donations to the Foundation.

Julie Morgan, from Lindfield CC Academy said, "Ruth set up the Foundation in the last few months of her life to raise awareness of this terrible disease. With the Test Match being played in front of no spectators due to the current restrictions, it is down to the clubs across the country to pick up the baton and support the charity as much as we can. We're hoping to bring a splash of colour to both Lindfield and Burgess Hill, and invite people to come along, watch some cricket and get involved."
