Broken Arrow flying to top of showing classes

Broken Arrow, the outstanding traditional skewbald cob produced and shown by Heather Linfield from her base near Rowlands Castle, has enjoyed a magnificent year, with prestigious wins both in-hand and under saddle.

Now seven, he has amassed numerous trophies and rosettes, most of which have come during July, August and September this year. He won nine championships and was third in the National Championship of the British Skewbald and Piebald Association Show. The tally might have been more but for many of the shows falling on the same day.

He clinched the Reserve In-Hand championship at Hickstead, where he was also fourth in the ridden class, beaten only by three show cobs that had won at the Royal International horse show.
