The Bluebirds are four points behind Brighton with two games to play and they entertain Crystal Palace at 5.30pm, before Albion travel to Arsenal for a 4.30pm kick-off tomorrow.

The Seagulls will be safe if Cardiff lose - or if the Bluebirds draw because Brighton have a far superior goal difference.

Asked if he'll be watching the game, Murray said: "We’ll be at the hotel by then, so I suppose it depends on if the hotel has BT Sport! After that it’s our free time and we’ll be free to watch it.

“Some will want to and some will choose to do something else. It’s not compulsory. But I’m sure there will be a big group watching and I’m sure it might be too stressful for others.

“But whether we watch it or not it can’t change the result.

“Will I watch? It depends how I feel and who’s in the other group! But If you enjoy watching stressful football matches then enjoy watching it on behalf of us.”
