Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion: Likely line-ups for Premier League match

The Seagulls could be safe by the time the game kicks off if Cardiff fail to beat Crystal Palace this afternoon.

The Seagulls drew 1-1 at home to Newcastle in their last game, ending a run of 735 minutes without a goal in the process.

Arsenal have lost their last three Premier League matches, conceding three in defeats to Crystal Palace, Wolves and Leicester but they beat Valencia 3-1 in the Europa League on Thursday.

ARSENAL

Arsenal will be without Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Denis Suarez (groin), while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is suspended after being sent off for two bookings at Leicester last weekend.

Laurent Koscielny could be a doubt after taking a knock to his ankle during Arsenal's 3-1 win against Valencia in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday.

One of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette could be rested ahead of the second leg next week.

Rob Holding, Danny Welbeck and Hector Bellerin are all long-term injury absentees.

Likely line-up: Leno; Monreal, Mustafi, Sokratis, Kolasinac; Torreira, Guendouzi; Mikhitaryan, Ozil, Iwobi; Lacazette. Subs (from): Cech, Mavropanos, Koscielny, Lichtsteiner, Jenkinson, Xhaka, Elneny, Aubameyang, Nketiah.

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION

Brighton midfielder Davy Propper will again miss out with the hamstring injury he sustained at Wolves a couple of weeks ago, while Jose Izquierdo will miss the game with a knee injury.

Beram Kayal limped off in Albion's 1-1 draw with Newcastle last weekend but is set to be available.

Solly March, an Arsenal fan growing up, could come into the starting line-up after impressing off the bench against Newcastle.

Anthony Knockaert will also be pushing for a start after returning to action as a second half substitute against Newcastle following a three-game suspension.

Bruno and Bernardo started in the full-back positions against Newcastle. Martin Montoya and Gaetan Bong, who signed a new contract last week, will be pressing for recalls to the starting line-up.
