Woman jailed for sex on Worthing football pitch

A WOMAN was caught having sex with two men in broad daylight near where children were playing.

Lisa Howe, 32, of Meadow Road, was jailed for eight weeks at Worthing Magistrates' Court for four separate charges, including an act of outraging public decency.

Police were called to a football pitch near Goring Hall Hospital at 5.30pm on March 26, after parents and children saw three people having sex and carrying out other sexual activities.

Police saw Howe lying on her back with no clothes on the lower half of her body.

One man was getting up from his knees and doing up his trousers, while a second man was lying on the floor exposing himself.

Speaking on behalf of Howe, John Naylor described her as a "most vulnerable individual" who lived in a house where she was visited by "most of the homeless people in Worthing".

There were reports Howe was assaulted when she was younger, leading to a history of drinking and drugs.

Howe admitted the offence at a previous court appearance.

Other offences included stealing a dress, assaulting her mum, and being drunk and incapable after police found her asleep in a flower bed, for which she was found guilty in her absence on November 13.
