A SHOREHAM teenager is hoping Sussex will get texting to land her a place in the finals of Miss England.
Willow Boswell Wright, 19, was crowned Miss Brighton in May.
Along with other contestants from around the country, she is now taking part in a public text vote to decide the last 12 in the competition.
People have until Saturday, September 3, to vote for the former Steyning Gram-mar School pupil by texting VOTE BRIGHTON to 81444.
Willow told the Herald: "It would be really amazing if I won it. I think it would be great to get second or third place, though."
Willow is a part-time model, who has appeared in Zoo and Front magazines.
She reached the finals in the Search for Natural Beauty competition with Evian, Cosmopolitan Magazine and Select Model Management in 2004. Willow also made it to the finals of the L'Oral Colour Trophy in the same year.
She won 10,000-worth of prizes as Miss Brighton, including a designer dress and a year's free tanning.
"I had never entered anything like it before," she said.
