Village traffic survey could be so calming

Ardingly Parish Council wants people to take part in a traffic survey of the village. It held an Open Forum last December, with a presentation by specialist consultants on possibilities for reducing traffic speeds. Acknowledgement was made of the impact on the community of traffic generated by Ardingly College, nearby Wakehurst Place, the South of England Showground as well as the Hanson aggregates works.

The parish council has now launched a survey to gather further information for the next part of the consultation process. The survey can be seen online by following the link https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Ardingly_traffic or via the parish council’s website at www.ardingly.org. The survey will be open until Friday February 15 and paper copies are available from Hapstead Hall on Tuesday mornings 10am-12pm.
