VIDEO: Colourful costumes and fantastic floats draw crowds at Rotary Carnival
Belly dancers, enthusiastic children and colourful costumes drew hoards of people to the annual procession, which made its way from Grand Avenue to Steyne Gardens on Monday.
The event, which has been an annual fixture in the town since the 1920s, raises money for Worthing’s three rotary clubs.

Hide AdCarnival committee chair Pauline Fox said: “The atmosphere in Grand Avenue was electric. It was like a mini carnival.
“It was better than it has been for several years, and everyone has said how huge the crowds were.”
A series of floats, representing various charities and organisations, proceeded along the route, along with a number of walking displays.
