Hide AdPC Phil Edwards, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “Local people have identified vehicle offences as a priority in and around the Rye area. This operation was conducted to reassure them that we do and will continue to take action.
“The operation was a huge success and shows how well different agencies can work together. We will be conducting more of this type of operation in various locations throughout Rye and the surrounding area in the near future and hope that this will continue to be a deterrent to anti-social and unlawful drivers.”
Anti-social or illegal driving can be reported to Sussex Police on 101 or through the dedicated website www.operationcrackdown.co.uk.
