Two men from Kent arrested over postbox theft

The Elizabethan-style postbox, which was sat on a black plinth, was stolen from Penhurst Lane between 4.30pm on Wednesday June 4 and 4.30pm the following day.

Two men aged 31 and 34, both from Kent, have been questioned and released on police bail until August 6.

Meanwhile officers are continuing to work with English Heritage and Royal Mail regarding the theft of the postbox.
