Woman passenger dies in A281 Rudgwick collision

A woman died in a two-car collision near Rudgwick yesterday afternoon (Sunday July 28).

The incident took place at around 5.10pm on the A281 near Rudgwick.

It involved a Blue Skoda and a Silver Honda.

A 63 year old female passenger in the Skoda died at the scene.

The 23 year old driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries, another 66 year old male passenger received minor injuries.

The male driver and the female passenger in the Honda were also injured and required hospital treatment.

The road remained closed for several hours while a forensic examination of the scene was undertake.

Sussex Police have asked that any witnesses to the collision make contact quoting 101 Serial number 1130/28/7/2013 Op Donegal.
