Teenage Horsham FC player taken to hospital after clash of heads
A Horsham FC Youth player was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury during a match yesterday evening (Tuesday April 21).
Paramedics were called during the second half of Horsham under-18s game against Greenwich Borough at Gorings Mead.
The footballer was involved in a clash of heads just before 9pm.
The match was stopped while emergency services treated the teenager at the scene.
He was taken to Worthing Hospital. It is believed he was released from hospital this morning.
