Shoreham teenager dies after crash in Lancing
THE teenage motorcyclist who was seriously injured in an accident in Brighton Road, Lancing, early yesterday morning (Friday, June 8) died hours later in hospital, as a result of his injuries.
The 18-year-old rider, from Shoreham, suffered serious head injuries in the crash, at about 4.25am. He was taken to Hurstwood Park hospital for treatment but died yesterday afternoon.
Police do not believe any other vehicles were involved and have appealed for witnesses to the collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101, quoting Operation Cypress.
