Help pay for patients’ vital gym equipment

Physiotherapists at the Princess Royal are more used to putting patients through their paces but they began working up a sweat of their own in a fund-rising bikeathon early this morning.

They are taking it in turns to pedal an exercise bike in the foyer of the Haywards Heath hospital to raise money for gym equipment for patients.

They were hard at work from 7am (Tuesday, July 16) onwards and are due to finish their challenge at 5pm in a ten hour marathon organised through the hospital’s League of Friends.
