Tractors destroyed as fire sweeps though barn in West Marden

A timber barn at West Marden was severely damaged and two tractors inside were destroyed when fire swept through the building on Monday afternoon (September 28).

Firefighters received an emergency call shortly before 1pm and rushed to the scene at Watergate Estate, Locksash Lane.

The fire had broken out in a single-storey timber barn with a mezzanine floor which contained straw and the two tractors. The barn was also used for offices and storage.
