Tory leader: Gloves are off in hospital 'fight'

TORY leader David Cameron came to Worthing Hospital on Monday, promising the Government a 'bare knuckle fight' over the future of district general hospitals.

Mr Cameron said: "Today I'm launching a campaign to save our district general hospitals which are under threat from our Government.

"We've identified 29 hospitals around the country that are being threatened by cutbacks to A&E and maternity services."
