Speaker Ann Haworth will be giving a lecture entitled ‘Gustave Caillebotte:Impressionist, Gardener and Sailor’ when Rother Valley Decorative and Fine Arts Society holds it next meeting on Monday June 15.

It takes place at the Arthur Easton Centre in the grounds of St. Michael’s Hospice, Upper Maze Road, St. Leonards on Sea.

The group will be holding its AGM at 2pm and the talk will start at 2.30pm.

Gustave Caillebotte (1848-1894) is one of the least known, but most important members of the Impressionists. he was also a passionate gardener, a philatelist and a keen designer and sailor of yachts.
