Starting at 1pm close to Edward Bryant School, the parade will wind its way down London Road, onto Sudley Road and arrive at Our Lady of Sorrows Church for a service at around 1.30pm.

They will be led by the Littlehampton Sea Cadet band and this year’s parade will be especially poignant.

Aly Dodd, district commissioner for the Bognor Regis and District Scouts said: “This year is a bit special because we’ll be dedicating six new flags, including the St George’s and Union Flag, which were destroyed in the fire at our head quarters.”

After the service the parade will march back to the school for a 3pm finish.

In the Bognor Observer newspaper published on Thursday, we incorrectly stated the parade was due to happen on Saturday. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
