Sparkling gala night in Ninfield

A "sparkling evening of fun and entertainment" will be held at Ninfield Memorial Hall on November 15.

Organised by the Memorial Hall committee, in association with Ninfield Parish Council and Carnival Committee, this promises to be a momentous occasion with the first ever Village Award.

The Brighton Revue Company will be playing music and tickling the audience with comedy sketches.

To close the night there will be a disco to keep the party dancing till midnight.

After a successful year of fundraising, the Carnival Committee will also be presenting a cheque to the Demelza James Children's Hospice, and if this is still not enough to celebrate, there will be a licensed bar, and a fish and chip supper provided to all ticket holders courtesy of local chippies from Little Common and Sidley.

140 people attended the last gala in 2006, and organisers hope that this one will be another hit.

Tickets cost 12.50, and profits will be going to local causes such as helping the Memorial Hall with the repairs and refurbishment it needs.
