Sights and smells of summer fill Memorial Hall

Members had filled the hall with a wonderful display of produce, including flowers, pot plants, floral arrangements, fruit and vegetables.

There were fewer roses than normal as many had been damaged by the recent rain, but due to the strange weather this shortage was compensated for by unseasonable exhibits, such as very early dahlias.

There were also cookery, handicraft and children’s sections.
