Shopping fun

LATE night shopping comes to Uckfield tonight (Friday). Meanwhile, a day of festive fun and seasonal shopping takes place in Heathfield tomorrow.

All the leading retailers in Uckfield will be open until at least 9pm for the annual shopping event, which offers shoppers the chance to buy all their Christmas gifts in a more relaxed atmosphere.

In Heathfield, a farmers market will be held in the Station Road car park from 9am to 1pm, where a silver band will be performing. Meanwhile, Kings Church members will sing carols in the High Street, and a children s entertainer will keep the kids amused while the grown ups buy presents.

At 11am, there will be Christmas stories in the library, while in the afternoon there will be face painting and puppet shows in the Kings Church State Hall.
