Seatbelt safety event in Littlehampton

Firemen from Littlehampton fire station and will be at Tesco, in Broadpiece, on Tuesday as part of national seatbelt safety week.

There will be advice on how to use seatbelts safely and effectively and there will also be a short questionnaire for people to fill out.

The firefighters, who will be there from 2.30pm to 5pm, will also have their information unit with them and will be handing out leaflets on the day.

It has been a legal requirement to wear a seatbelt for more than 30 years, and being caught without wearin g one carries a minimum fine of £100.
