Schoolgirl assaulted in Bexhill

A schoolgirl hurt her face after one of a group of boys pushed her into a wall in Bexhill.

The 13-year-old, dressed in school uniform, encountered a group of four boys aged 17-18 on Gunter’s Lane on Tuesday, March 1.

She was walking towards Downs Road between 2.45pm and 2.55pm when the tallest of the group pushed the girl, causing her to trip and hit the wall, sustaining extensive bruising to her face.

The suspect was of mixed race, of average build and wearing a plain black hoody with the hood drawn tightly across his face.

Anyone who saw what happened or who noticed the group is asked to email or phone 101, quoting serial 869 of 01/03.
