Redevelopment schemes for Worthing's M&S and Guildbourne Centre
WORTHING town centre is set to get a major facelift with two multi-million-pound redevelopment schemes.
A 12m overhaul of Marks and Spencer in Montague Street began on Monday and a new shopping mall is set to replace the ageing Guildbourne Centre.
The M&S scheme will include moving the coffee shop to the rear of the store on the first floor and increasing its seating capacity to 90. Glass will also be fitted at the back of the store so people in the coffee shop will have a seafront view.
