Pupils give it some stick
Kate Tugwell, from the school, explained: “During the year staff, governors and pupils have been learning about values as part of the school vision statement. Staff attended an inset day run by ‘Why? Consultancy’ to explore which values they felt Guestling School wanted to learn and live by.
“Pupils also had the chance to decide on the values that they felt were important.

Hide Ad“Having settled on the six values of courage, excellence, friendship, resilience, trust and equality, teachers created a walking stick for their class to display each value using an object or a picture. The school council members were well organised and confident and the assembly was a great success.”
