Praise for students' skills

STUDENTS will be praised for their success during an annual celebration evening.

Wealden Skills Centre in Uckfield is hosting the event to honour young people aged 15 to 16.

The students have completed a two-year course in either constructions skills or motor vehicle maintenance.

Highlights of the evening will be awards for outstanding achievement and the most improved student.

Six companies are sponsoring the event: Box'd Tyres of Crowborough, Caffyns, Draper Tools, M & W Engineering, T & T Sussex Plant Hire and The Stores Dept.

They are offering tools as prizes for students.

The evening runs from 7pm to 9pm at Wealden Skills Centre, Bellbrook Business Park, Birch House, Brambleside in Uckfield, on June 25.
