Police in Seaford seek stolen donkey ornament

Police are seeking information after a large concrete ornament in the shape of a donkey was stolen from the front garden of a house in Walmer Road, Seaford.

The metre-high ornament, featuring a flower-basket, was stolen between 9pm on Thursday (July 2) and 6.30am on Friday (July 3).

Sergeant Stuart Mullins, of the Seaford neighbourhood policing team, said: “It’s possible that this theft began as a prank, with someone simply moving the donkey a short distance,

“If anyone has seen it, knows where it is or who is offered such an item for sale is asked to contact police.”

Anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] or phone 101, quoting serial 253 of 3/7.
