Said organiser Poppet Cheal: 'We have had adverse weather every time we have run the event over the past three years, but people still turn out and I am very grateful to them and to those who helped me organise it.'

There was plenty to entertain the crowds, including vintage farm machinery, a visit from the Southdown and Eridge Hunt, steam engines, stock cars, a dog show, trade and craft stalls, a beer festival, sports for the children, a funfair and refreshments

There was also an evening barbecue, a live band and fireworks.
