Tributes paid to well-known Eastbourne cinema worker of 30 years
Former Curzon Cinema employee Stephen Milsom, 63, from Hyde Gardens, died on Friday, June 12.
Mr Milsom’s former colleagues said he was looking forward to a ‘long retirement’ after 30 years of service to the cinema, where he used to deal with the business’ accounts and serve the public at the box office up until the establishment’s closure this year.

Roy Galloway, the cinema’s proprietor, said he had relied ‘greatly’ on Stephen’s ‘professionalism’ and ‘loyalty’ and was saddened to hear the news.
Mansel Stimpson, chair of the Eastbourne Film Society, remembered Stephen for being ‘instrumental’ in ensuring the society’s ‘general comforts’ were catered for - noting Stephen’s handling of the booking arrangements over the ‘many years’ the society was based at the Curzon.
